In September 2025, Minera Orex S.A.C., in partnership with Swiss Better Gold (SBG), held a two-day Emergency Brigade Training Workshop to strengthen workplace safety for artisanal and small-scale miners operating within its concession in Peru. 

More than 40 miners and members of existing emergency brigades participated in the training, led by specialists from the Camaná Fire Department. The workshop also marked the start of deploying new rescue equipment provided by SBG, in coordination with Minera Orex, strengthening the emergency preparedness of the mine's suppliers and reinforcing compliance with the Swiss Better Gold criteria on Safe Work.
